To market, to market...

Posted 5/4/2009 8:34pm by Nathan Parks.

Aren't you curious to know what's in store for this week at the farm?  Lots of things are happening around the place!  Strawberries, dill, cilantro parsley, brussel sprouts, cabbage, and broccoli are being transplanted outside in the field.

Chickens are being processed this Thursday.  They will be ready for sale fresh on Friday and frozen at the Lafayette Farmer's Market beginning this Saturday.

Whole, frozen birds will be $3.50/lb.

Pre-cut whole frozen birds are $3.75/lb

Drumsticks, thighs, wings and boneless, skinless breasts will also be available.  Pricing to follow.

In addition to chicken, we will have available fresh salad greens, spinach, tomato and herb plants, and fresh eggs at the market this Saturday.  Thanks for everyone's support at the farmer's market this past weekend.  It was a big success!  We are so excited to be able to be a part of it.
